YOU can get a taste of what wartime life was like, at the National Museum of Flight this weekend.
As part of the 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme, the East Lothian attraction is running Wartime Experience, offering an insight of life during WWI and WWII.
Visitors will have the chance to see military encampments, a mobile military museum, ration cookery demonstrations and poppy making with Poppyscotland. They will also listen to music from the 1940s.
• Wartime Experience takes place from 10am-5pm on Sunday, June 5. Tickets cost £14/12 for adults, £9 for kids (under 5s free) and a family ticket will set you back £37. More information/bookings: http://www.nms.ac.uk/national-museum-of-flight/whats-on/wartime-experience/
