Cyclist dies in collision with car in Midlothian
A CYCLIST has died after being involved in a collision with a car in Midlothian on Sunday morning.
Police Scotland said the crash between the bicycle and a Vauxhall Corsa happened on the A68 near Pathhead at about 09:50.
The 50-year-old male cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene and the road was closed for several hours.
Officers appealed for witnesses and expressed their condolences to the family and friends of the man.
