Cameron Tindle (Edinburgh AC) will be back in action in the Scottish Under-20 Championships at Grangemouth Stadium tomorrow.
The 17-year-old, who is Scotland’s fastest senior but missed last weekend’s national championships in Aberdeen due to a Commonwealth Youth Games get-together, will contest both 100 and 200 metres.
Pitreavie’s Jack Lawrie, who won the 400m hurdles in a tight finish in Aberdeen, will be looking to go even faster at Grangemouth where he will bid for an audacious treble, also contesting the high hurdles and flat 400m. Among his rivals for the latter title will be Sandy Wilson (EAC). Dominic O’Hare and Gavin Bryson, two more EAC middle-distance rivals, will run in the 1500m.
Hannah Cameron (EAC) faces stiff opposition in the under-20 400m from senior bronze medallist Kelsey Stewart and senior 800m winner Mhairi Hendry.
