Basketball: Blaze look for fresh spark

BOROUGHMUIR BLAZE, beaten by Glasgow University away, will be desperate for a return to the form they showed in snuffing out the Tornadoes recently when tomorrow (4.20pm) they host Glasgow Rocks at the Crags where a new backboard and hoops were installed this week.

“Training has been very intense and focused this week. We hope to return to winning ways,” said coach Chopper Pettett.

Falkirk Fury could be tested by Troon Tornadoes at the Mariner SC tonight (8pm) especially if Troon display the form which gave them a win over St Mirren last weekend. Dunfermline Reign meanwhile host the Glasgow students at Queen Anne School (5pm).
