Basketball: Kings make it a double

Edinburgh Kings won a basketball double when they added the Scottish League Play-Offs crown to the league title they clinched at the end of March.

They defeated Falkirk Fury 89-69 in the final, pulling away with a strong 27-11 third quarter after a tight first half.

Edinburgh Kool Kats could not follow the men’s example however and went down 63-48 in the women’s final.
