Bowls: Champion Peacock dressed to the nines at Midlothian
The international stars produced a thrilling 28-end encounter that lasted three hours.
The destination of the title was very much in the melting pot after 20 ends with the master scoreboard flashing a 15-15 deadlock that held more significance for Peacock as the 46-year-old defending champion had recovered from 15-9 down.

Hide AdHe then added a double at end 21 to lead 17-15 but, six ends later, 40-year-old Walker – whom Peacock beat in the 2015 final – was carding a single to stay bang in contention at 20-19 down.
End 28 developed in cliff-hanging style before Peacock grabbed the match-winning single to give him back-to-back title triumphs.
The final of the Ladies Singles was also a corker as Stacey McDougall beat Sandra McLeish 21-14 in a 19-end battle.
McDougall stole an early march on fellow cap and six-times Midlothian champion Sandra McLeish, having exploded into a 15-5 lead after nine ends but found herself coming under late pressure with her opponent closing to 16-13.
But McDougall claimed a timely double to 18 then answered the loss of a single with a 2, 1 finish to clinch her second title.
