BAINFIELD gents aim to get back to winning ways against East Lothian in the indoor bowls Premier League at the Hutchison Crossway Stadium tomorrow.

Wins over Ayr and Abbeyview give Bainfield an undefeated home record in Section B. However, they face a stiff test tomorrow against an East Lothian team featuring Alex Marshall MBE.

‘Tattie’, who made an earlier-than-expected exit from the Scottish International Open at Perth this week, could come up against his brother, Bainfield kingpin, Robert.

Bainfield enter the match on the back of a defeat at Falkirk and player-manager Gavin Smith has tweaked his line-up with positional switches and brought in Stuart Douglas for his debut as Kerr McKail drops to the bench.

MIDLOTHIAN are flying high in with four wins from four ahead of their Section A clash with Arbroath at the Dalkeith Stadium.

Ronnie Duncan remains in Hong Kong representing Bowls Scotland in The Classic Event while Ian Fleming returns but only as a reserve.
