Edinburgh boxer Kenny Anderson is likely to find out in the next two weeks when his British super middleweight clash with Englishman George Groves is to be staged.
Recent reports had suggested September 14 at Wembley arena was when Anderson, 29, was likely to be pitched against his opponent, but a date in October now appears to be on the cards.
Anderson said: “Wembley was never confirmed for September. Frank Warren has now won the bid so I’m just waiting to find out a date and venue for the fight, but it is likely to take place in October. I’ve kept myself training so I will be ready when it comes.”
