BoxNation deal brings live TV boost for Edinburgh boxers
Edinburgh cruiserweight Stephen Simmons will top the bill at MGM Scotland's show on Saturday, October 1, at Bellahouston Sports Centre in Glasgow '“ an event that will be screened live on BoxNation.
This is a major coup for promoter Sam Kynoch and his team and will afford some of the country’s finest boxers with some much-needed live TV exposure.
The Capital’s Lewis Benson, Stephen Tiffney, Lee Redpath and John Thain have also since been announced on the card. Promoter Kynoch said: “This deal is great news both for Team MGM and also Scottish boxing as a whole. BoxNation provides an excellent platform which will allow for the best Scottish talent to be showcased to a national audience, as well as facilitating big fights being made in Scotland.”
Meanwhile, MGM returns to Meadowbank for their Capital Punishment show on Saturday, October 29, with tickets available from ticketmaster.co.uk
