Chris O'Hare ruled out of Muller Grand Prix
The double European 1500 metres medallist was picked for the British team for Birmingham despite the foot injury that kept him out of last weekend’s UK trials. But the Capital star is still expected to be ready for the world showpiece.
Dunbar sprinter Maria Lyle, 18, will run her first-ever indoor race in a T37-38 60 metres against London 2017 champions Sophie Hahn and Olivia Breen in the Muller GP.

Hide AdUK silver medallist Mhairi Hendry has been rewarded for her World Indoor call-up with an outing in the women’s 800m at the Emirates Arena against Lynsey Sharp, who will have her only home outing ahead of the Commonwealth Games. Meanwhile, Edinburgh University’s Steph Pennycook is favourite in Saturday’s Scottish cross-country championships in Falkirk.
