Three teams – Carlton, Watsonians and Heriot’s – have guaranteed their Murgitroyd Masterton Trophy semi-final spots.
In League One Carlton defeated Mazars Grange to assure themselves of a knockout place.
Grange are second, but if SMRH win their final match on Tuesday then they will leapfrog them and progress.
Batting first in the Twenty20 match at Portgower Place Carlton posted 157-6. The in-form Michael Herdman opened the batting and made 34 and he was well supported by Fraser Watts with 38 and Hugo Southwell with 33.
Tom Foulds starred with the ball for Grange with four wickets.
Ryan Flannigan led the way with 37 for the hosts in their reply and 30 from Neil McCallum and 22 from Foulds put them in a good place in the run chase.
However, the Carlton bowlers kept things tight when they had to and in the end Grange were 144 all out in the final over.
In League Two at Myreside Watsonians defeated RH Corstorphine by seven wickets.
The visitors were bowled out for 90 before the Chalmers brothers Ewan and Andrew saw Sonians home.
The result also confirmed the progress of Heriot’s.
