Heriot’s II got their second win of the Baillie Gifford East One season on Saturday when they saw off Edinburgh Accies at Goldenacre.
Heriot’s bowlers were on good form to restrict Accies to just 149 all out.
They reached their victory target with six wickets to spare, the result leaving the winners sixth in the table and Accies in ninth.
Former Heriot’s man Craig Adams continued his good form for league leaders Kelso as they defeated Watsonians II.
Batting first in the Borders, Watsonians posted 196-6 from their 50 overs, with club president Keith Flannigan making 55 and Euan Robertson supporting him well with 43.
Kelso reached their victory target for the loss of just three wickets though, all-rounder Adams the main man with 85 not out.
In a cracking match at Inch Park, West Lothian’s revival continued with a win over Edinburgh South. Patrick Bennie made 50 not out as West Lothian made a useful 230-5 from their 50 overs.
Musselburgh were bowled out for just 33 against Dunnikier to lose by a massive 210 runs and Gala are second after thumping St Boswells.
