The Murgitroyd Masterton Trophy semi-final line-up is set to be completed in the next couple of days with the two remaining last eight ties due to be played.
Tonight Mazars Grange, who are looking to lift the trophy for the third year in a row, welcome Marchmont to Stockbridge.
Grange progressed to this tie with a comfortable first-round win over Morton while Marchmont earned themselves the trip to The Grange with a victory over Boroughmuir seven days ago.
If Marchmont are to cause a shock and progress to the last four then they will need their key batsmen like Matt Loeffen and Corne Van Jaarsveld to fire.
The victors will host Watsonians in the semi-finals after they beat Heriot’s last week.
Meanwhile, SMRH host Edinburgh at Inverleith tomorrow in the other half of the cup draw.
SMRH eased past Edinburgh South in the first round while Edinburgh caused the biggest shock of this year’s event so far when they knocked out Carlton.
Whoever wins this quarter-final will take on Stuart&Stuart Penicuik, who saw off Holy Cross last week, in the last four meaning there will definitely be a Baillie Gifford ESCA Championship side in the final.
