Hemant Verma took seven wickets to help lead Musselburgh to yet another win in Baillie Gifford East One.
Going into the match against St Boswells in the Borders, Verma had taken seven league wickets to date this summer.
And, after an amazing spell of bowling, he doubled that tally to 14 in just one afternoon.
Batting first at The Green, Rizwan Ullah led the way for the East Lothian men with 47.
Deepanshu Solanki chipped in with 44 and Raja Tufail 41 as they ended up posting 192 all out. John Robertson and Verma in particular were then inspired with the ball.
Robertson took 3-13, but was upstaged by Verma who took 7-9 as St Boswells were bowled out for just 23 as Musselburgh won by 169 runs.
Musselburgh are third and Edinburgh South fourth after they defeated Edinburgh Accies by four wickets. For the second week in a row Heriot’s II’s batting let them down as they lost to leaders Gala.
At Meigle Park, Heriot’s were bowled out for just 74 and their hosts eased to a nine-wicket victory.
West Lothian lost to Kelso and despite a battling half century from Kenny Rae, Watsonians lost out to Dunnikier at Myreside.
In East Two, the highlight on Saturday was Mark Burgess’s five wickets as SMRH II defeated Fauldhouse by 111 runs.
In East Three, Kirk Brae defeated Boroughmuir by 66 runs to remain unbeaten.
