Lothians cyclist Louise Haston, a double Commonwealth Games medallist last summer, added to her list of achievements when she returned from the British Masters Track Championships with a haul of four medals.

The former City of Edinburgh rider, who now competes in the colours of TORQ Performance, bagged silver medals in the 500 metres time trial for cyclists aged 35-39 years, the 2 kilometre pursuit and the scratch race. In the individual sprint, she got the better of Madeline Moore (VC St Raphael) to clinch gold.

There was also success in the men’s 45-49 category for Colin MacKenzie (Edinburgh Road Club), who won bronze in the 750 metres time trial.
