F1: Di Resta is disappointed

BATHGATE’s Paul di Resta suffered a disappointing inaugural Indian Grand Prix, finishing 13th after his aggressive strategy failed to reap dividends.

It was the first time that Formula One had raced in India and expectations were high for Di Resta’s Sahara Force India team at Noida, near New Delhi.

The Scot, however, was outshone by team-mate Adrian Sutil, who got the team points with a ninth-place finish. The race was won by world champion Sebastian Vettel, taking his victory tally to 11 for the year. Jenson Button was second.
