'˜Fighter' Scot Quin hails work of sports psychologist
Quin’s last major international was the 2016 Rio Paralympics where he finished second behind Aaron Moores.
And this time around, he was in third at the halfway point and it looked like he might just missing out on top spot again.

Great Britain team mate Conner Morrison, who trains at the University of Aberdeen and is making his international debut, secured silver after battling back from outside of the medal positions.
The result saw Loanhead man Quin successfully defend the title he won two years ago in Funchal. “I have swum better but sometimes you have to dig deep,” Quin said.
“The work I have done with my sports psychologist has helped me and I am a fighter.
“It is a great result for me. In the morning [in the heats] I was a bit nervous, a bit tense, but in the evening it all came good and I’ve defended my title which feels amazing.”
