Alex Cunningham will keep faith with in-form Strollers
The league’s newest side ran out comfortable 4-0 winners down in the Borders last Saturday to pick up their first three points of the season and make amends for the opening day 5-0 thrashing to fellow league newcomers Hawick Royal Albert 11 days ago.
Few could have predicted such an upturn in fortune but, ahead of tonight’s visit of Gala Fairydean Rovers, Cunningham has revealed the same XI from the weekend have more than earned another crack at the whip.

I’ve told the guys they’ve got the jersey now so it’s up to them to keep it,” he said. “The boys that aren’t playing will just have to watch unfortunately, but that’s life. They’ll have to bide their time, but it’s encouraging as we’ve still got a lot of quality to come back into the fold.
“We just played really well against Gretna who are a very strong side. The guys have just got to be consistent from now on. The Hawick game was completely different as we didn’t have players playing in the right positions. But it will be tough against Gala tonight, they’ve also spent big over the summer but the players should have that belief that we can get something.”
Elsewhere, Dorian Ogunro takes his Edinburgh University squad to Alloa’s Indodrill Stadium to face hosts BSC Glasgow. The students picked up a useful point at Ainslie Park in the 1-1 draw with Spartans on Saturday.
Whitehill Welfare will be looking for their first win on home soil this season when they welcome Garry O’Connor’s Selkirk to Ferguson Park. Welfare ran out 3-2 winners on the road at Hawick on Saturday.
Spartans and Preston Athletic are both on their travels this evening with fixtures at Vale of Leithen and Cumbernauld Colts respectively.
