Angry Dalkeith team run out of luck in Fife

Ten-man Dalkeith pushed the league leaders all the way in this top-of-the-table clash in Fife.

Dalkeith had the bulk of the pressure in the opening half and had what looked a perfectly good goal from Darren Flynn ruled out. To make matters worse they had Jay Hunter sent off with a straight red card for a two-footed tackle just before the break.

There was no scoring at the turn round but it was an angry Dalkeith side who conceded a goal after only two minutes. From a corner on the right, Jonathon Smart scored to put Ballingry ahead. Dalkeith continued to press the home defence but were still being frustrated by an over zealous referee. Then, just on the hour mark, Ballingry scored a second. Dougie Cameron was on the end of a passing move up the field to score from six yards.
