Arniston pay the penalty

Premier League Arniston Rangers crashed out of the Fife & Lothians Cup after a dramatic penalty shoot-out defeat away to South Division side Livingston United.

With a quarter-final trip to Linlithgow up for grabs, the teams battled out a 2-2 draw before the home side prevailed 6-5 from the spot. Livingston went two up with goals from Kevin Byle and Lee Docherty and could have made it three but Brian Jack missed a penalty before half time. Second-half goals from Arniston duo Jordan Leishman and Kenny Munro sent the tie to penalties. Livingston keeper Aaron Gillespie saved the first spot-kick, with Andy Roberts keeping his cool to secure victory for the hosts.
