The Super League champions were 4-3 victors in an enthralling 90 minutes which saw the visitors come from behind twice against Linlithgow.

Robbie Horn’s men opened the scoring after 14 minutes when Adam Nelson’s corner kick was headed home by free-scoring striker Wayne McIntosh.

The home side stormed into the lead with goals from Kevin Kelbie and Blair Batchelor before Bonnyrigg levelled just before the break through McIntosh.

Kelbie fired Lithgae ahead ten minutes after the interval when he took full advantage of a defensive error, but they were pegged back once more as Ruaridh Donaldson volleyed home.

McIntosh looked to have missed out on his hat-trick after home goalkeeper Michael McKinven saved his penalty, but he secured his treble and Bonnyrigg’s place in the final with six minutes remaining.

McKinven saved another penalty in added-on time from Nelson.

In the other semi-final, Penicuik Athletic were surprise winners away to Kelty Hearts, winning 1-0 thanks to Keith Lough’s second-half strike.
