Brondby set to face Hibs after 4-1 first-leg win

After a goalless first half in Iceland, Kamil Wilczek scored a double before Teemu Pukki – who played under Hibs boss Neil Lennon at Celtic – struck a third. Christian Jakobsen got a fourth for the Danes before a late consolation for Valur.

The return match will take place in Copenhagen next Thursday with Brondby now set to face Hibs in the next round with the first leg at Easter Road on Thursday, July 14. The second game is seven days later.
