Capital sides eye youth glory

Edinburgh’s youth footballers will be well represented at the finals of the Scottish Youth Cup at Airdrie United’s Excelsior Stadium tomorrow.

With Hutchison Vale beating city rivals Musselburgh Windsor last weekend in the 13s competition, another selection of the Capital’s finest will once again be making the journey west in search of cup glory.

The action kicks off at 11am, with Hutchison Vale 14s facing Dundee United SC in the first of three matches in Lanarkshire. This is followed by Tynecastle FC’s tie with Glasgow side Antonine Blacks for the chance to be crowned national champions at Under-15 level (kick-off 1.30pm).
