Conrad Balatoni extends Edinburgh City deal to keep him at club until 2022
Defender signs on for another two years
Conrad Balatoni has extended his Edinburgh City deal until the summer of 2022, the club has confirmed.
The former Hearts kid has been a mainstay in James McDonaugh's side since returning to Scotland in the summer of 2018 after a spell with Torquay United, and has made 76 appearances for the Citizens, scoring six goals.
Balatoni has missed just one match since returning to the Capital for the first time since he left Tynecastle in 2010.
After leaving Hearts, he had spells at Partick Thistle, Kilmarnock, Ayr United, Airdrieonians and Falkirk prior to his stint in Devon.
A statement from Edinburgh City read: "We are delighted to announce that defender Conrad Balatoni has officially agreed terms for a two-year contract extension."
The Ainslie Park side travel to Scottish Premiership side Hamilton Accies in the Scottish Cup fourth round on Saturday.
