FALKIRK manager Steven Pressley was left proud of his team despite their defeat by Rangers in the Ramsdens Cup second round last night.
Northern Ireland internationalist Andy Little scored on the stroke of half-time to give Rangers the lead and the Third Division side held on to that advantage to seal their passage into the quarter-finals.
Falkirk boss Steven Pressley, who as a player began his career at Rangers, said: “I’m disappointed for the players, I thought they were terrific.
“We applied all the principles that we work towards and we showed composure and belief in our passing game.
“The only disappointment was that we flashed a lot of balls across the face of the goal and didn’t really manage to work the goalkeeper.
“But I was proud of the players.”
