EoS clubs learn ties for William Hill Scottish Cup preliminary rounds

William Hill Scottish Cup debutants Tynecastle will host Scottish Amateur Cup winners Shortlees in preliminary round one of this season's competition.

The East of Scotland League side will play their Ayrshire opponents at Saughton Enclosure on Saturday, August 11.

East junior champions Bonnyrigg Rose – now part of the revamped East of Scotland League – have been drawn away to EoS rivals Hawick Royal Albert with the winner facing Tynecastle or Shortlees in round two.

Preston Athletic will host Glasgow University.

Five clubs – including Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale and Linlithgow Rose – were handed byes into Preliminary Round Two. Lothian will face the winner of Threave Rovers or Beith Juniors, while Lithgae will take on either Preston or Glasgow University.
