Former Livingston chief executive Ged Nixon has abandoned attempts to have the club’s bank accounts frozen.
Nixon was expected at the Court of Session in Edinburgh this morning in a second attempt to have an “Arrestment of Funds Order” imposed by Lord Tyre – a move that would have ring-fenced the £264,000 he is suing the club for.
Nixon has been at loggerheads with majority shareholder Neil Rankine ever since his departure from the club in October last year and has been pursuing a law case against his former employers.
However, both parties reached an agreement yesterday over the amount Nixon is owed, although that figure is yet to be disclosed.
The hearing will now be heard on February 6.
