Dougie Samuel’s men kicked off their Lowland League campaign last Friday night in fine fashion registering a 3-0 victory over Stirling University at the Falkirk Stadium.

However, captain and midfielder David Greenhill, who scored the Ainslie Park side’s third goal against the students, accepts he and his team-mates are going to have to raise their game if they are to progress over superior opposition at Shielfield Park.

“The boys are looking forward to going down to Berwick tonight and we know we’ll have to take our ‘A’ game with us,” Greenhill told the club’s official website.

“I know Cough (Berwick manager John Coughlin) well, in fact I’ve worked with him for a few years actually. There are also a handful of ex-Berwick players in the changing room which makes it even more interesting!

“Its always good playing a team higher as you always want to go out there and prove yourself that you can go out there and compere at that level.”
