Hearts and Hibs fixtures switched for TV coverage

Hearts and Hibs fans must alter their October diaries after fixture changes involving both teams. The Scottish Professional Football League has announced that two Hearts games and one Hibs match will be switched for live television.

The Gorgie club’s trip to Motherwell, originally scheduled for Saturday October 1, will now take place on Friday September 30 at 7.45pm and will be broadcast live on BT Sport.

Rangers’ visit to Tynecastle, originally scheduled for Saturday October 22, will now kick-off at 7.45pm on Friday October 21. It will also be screened live on BT Sport.

The Hearts-Rangers fixture could be subject to further change if the Glasgow club reach the Betfred Cup semi-finals, which are scheduled to take place on October 22/23.

Hibs’ home match against Dundee United, due to take place on Saturday October 1, has been moved to a 12pm kick-off on Sunday October 2 and will be broadcast on Sky Sports.
