Hearts Youth Development Committee to host awards dinner

HEARTS Youth Development Committee will hold their annual awards dinner on Saturday, April 2, in Tynecastle's Gorgie Suite

The club’s Young Player of the Year will be announced on the night, as will the Under-17 and Under-20 Player of the Year, plus the George Nicolson recognition award.

Guests will enjoy a three-course meal, entertainment from former grade one referee Willie Young and a Q&A session with HYDC ambassador John Colquhoun.

Jon Daly, Hearts’ Under-20 coach, said: “I know a little bit about HYDC and it’s great that they help the club in the way they do.

“If that support wasn’t there, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do in the academy.”

Calum Robertson, HYDC chairman, added: “HYDC are delighted that Jambos Kickback are sponsoring this year’s overall Young Player of the Year award. Jambos Kickback are long-time supporters of HYDC and we thank them for their continued support.”
