Aberdeen have sold out their initial allocation of 4600 seats for their clash with Hearts at BT Murrayfield on Saturday, September 9.

The Dons, whose fans will be housed in the North Stand, have now taken more tickets in the upper tier.

Derek McInnes’ side, top of the Ladbrokes Premiership with four wins from four, will take on the Jambos in Craig Levein’s first match since returning to the Hearts hotseat.

The Capital club are playing three matches at the home of Scottish rugby – St Johnstone (October 21) and Rangers (October 28) are the other two – while building work continues on the new main stand at Tynecastle.
