Former Hearts winger Suso Santana is on the verge of leading Tenerife into Spain's top flight.
The 32-year-old club captain provided the assist for Gaku Shibasaki's goal against Cadiz on Sunday, which secured a place in the promotion play-off final against Getafe.
If Tenerife prevail in that two-legged affair - the first game is Wednesday on the island, with the return on Saturday - they will secure a place in Spain's La Liga and face the might of Barcelona and Real Madrid next season.
Suso won the Scottish Cup in his final game for Hearts in 2012 to cap his three-year stay in Scotland. He was signed in 2009 by then-manager Csaba Laszlo from Tenerife but immediately returned there after his time at Tynecastle.
He is now a footballing legend on the island and, as Tenerife captain, will be eager to lead them back to the top level of Spanish football.
