The latest involves Celtic, as it has done so much this season, and their decision to go to Dubai. One first-team star has tested positive for coronavirus, while the players and management who were on the mid-season training camp could be forced to self-isolate ahead of tonight’s clash with Hibs due to a Scottish Government quarantine rule.

On the field Livingston made it eight wins in a row in all competitions with their victory over Ross County closing the gap to the Easter Road side, while Edinburgh City caused an upset by beating Airdrieonians in the Scottish Cup.

The game of the weekend was reserved for Bonnyrigg Rose, taking Dundee to extra-time and nearly causing a huge shock.
