HEARTS have offered a one-year contract to Bulgarian striker Nikolay Todorov after he impressed on trial.
Coaching staff at Riccarton believe the 19-year-old would be useful addition to their under-20 squad for next season.
Todorov is due to make a decision on the offer next week after mulling it over during the weekend. He is available as a free agent from Nottingham Forest but is taking time to think over the chance to continue his career in Scotland.
Todorov played under-21 football in England, although he did not make the breakthrough into the Nottingham Forest first team. He signed professionally for the English Championship club last year but has since spent time on loan at Worcester City and Hemel Hempstead. He is known as a hard-working striker with good aerial ability.
