HEARTS have sold 10,000 season tickets in less than a month as fans continue to back Ann Budge’s new regime in vast numbers.
Season ticket sales began on June 13 and have already broken through the 10,000 barrier as Hearts prepare for the most historic campaign ever in Scotland’s second tier.
Fans are now being advised to move quickly to secure their seat ahead of the new season, with phase two of the sales process beginning on Monday. Huge numbers of supporters are very keen to witness a unique Scottish Championship involving both Edinburgh clubs and Rangers.
During the first week of sales, 5000 fans renewed their season tickets and, with that number now reaching five figures, Tynecastle will again host sizeable home crowds next year.
A Hearts spokesperson said today: “To have hit 10,000 season ticket sales in less than a month is nothing short of phenomenal.
“Once again the Hearts supporters have demonstrated their incredible loyalty to the club. The revival is well and truly underway.
“With the last weekend of the phase one sales coming up, business will be brisk again, so supporters shouldn’t wait too long to secure their desired seat for the new season.”
Fans wishing to purchase a season ticket can do so in person at the Tynecastle ticket centre until 5pm tonight, from 9am-4pm tomorrow and from 12pm-4pm on Sunday. Season tickets are also available via Hearts eTickets and by calling 0871 663 1874, option 1.
The Jambos’ first league match is at home to Hibs on August 17.
