Hearts sold out their ticket allocation for the Scottish Cup fifth round tie with Falkirk in a little under four hours.

Supporters snapped up the briefs for the visit to the Falkirk Stadium next month as the team look to progress to the the quarter-finals.

Despite a 7.20pm kick-off on Saturday, 8 February and the game being shown on live BBC Scotland it didn't dull the appetite for Hearts fans keen to watch Stendel's men in action.

The side reached this stage of the round with a comprehensive 5-0 win over Airdrieonians in previous round.

With a healthy crowd expected to travel to St Johnstone on Saturday in the Ladbrokes Premiership, a feel-good feeling is building under Stendel, even if the team still sit bottom of the league.

The team are currently on a four-game unbeaten run having defeated Rangers 2-1 on Sunday to cut the gap at the bottom to one point.
