Having made his debut against Motherwell in November 2016, Currie was a regular member of the matchday squad under previous boss Ian Cathro, making 11 appearances in his debut season.

He missed the majority of the 2017/18 term with a knee injury and hasn't made first-team appearance at Tynecastle since a 1-1 draw at Partick Thistle in September 2017.

After returning from injury he's had loan spells at East Fife and Forfar Athletic.
