Hearts striker Rory Currie joins Linfield on loan
Youngster's contract at Tynecastle expires this summer
Hearts striker Rory Currie has moved on loan to Linfield in the top flight of Northern Irish football.
The 21-year-old makes the trip across the North Channel for the remainder of the 2019/20 season.
It could very well signal the end of Currie's Hearts career with his contract due to expire at the end of the campaign.
Having made his debut against Motherwell in November 2016, Currie was a regular member of the matchday squad under previous boss Ian Cathro, making 11 appearances in his debut season.
He missed the majority of the 2017/18 term with a knee injury and hasn't made first-team appearance at Tynecastle since a 1-1 draw at Partick Thistle in September 2017.
After returning from injury he's had loan spells at East Fife and Forfar Athletic.
