Hearts Under-20s continued their excellent form with a 2-0 home win over Kilmarnock in the Development League.
Rory Currie had a first-half effort ruled out after being penalised for high feet inside the area.
Two minutes after half-time, Hearts took the lead. Currie was bundled over inside the box, and Callumn Morrison sent Mackay the wrong way from the spot.
Just after the hour mark, Hearts doubled their lead, Currie firing home from 20 yards.
The Wee Jambos’ final match of the season is against Celtic on Monday and a win or a draw would see Andy Kirk’s side leapfrog Dundee into second place in the table.
