Rangers moved a step closer to winning the SPFL Under-20 League with a 4-1 win over a very young Hearts side at New Victoria Park, Newtongrange.
The Ibrox side more or less finished the contest in the first half with goals from Charlie Telfer and Craig Halkett.
Hearts pulled a goal back on 40 minutes, Angus Beith scoring with a left-foot shot from the edge of the box from a Sean McKirdy pass.
Rangers added a third goal straight after half-time, Halkett netting his second goal with an angled shot. The visitors later added a fourth through substitute Jamie Burrows.
Hearts: Millar, L Smith, K Wilson, Page, Ford, Simpson, A Scott, McKirdy, Beith, Craigie (L Smith 73), Buchanan. Subs: Mason, Queen, Daniel.
