Hearts captain Danny Wilson is one of a number of players on Celtic’s summer shopping list, according to the Hoops’ manager Ronny Deila.
When quizzed about reports in today’s press about any potential interest in the 23-year-old central defender, the Norwegian said: “That’s one of many names we are of course talking about but it is nothing serious. He is a good player.
Deila addied that the club’s recruitment department are already working round the clock to strengthen his squad for the next Premiership campaign, which will include Hearts after they won promotion from the Championship two weeks ago.
Deila said: “We have to use April and May to watch players and the scouting department is doing a very good job now, getting names in the positions we want. Now we just need to scout them, watch them as much as we can and talk with them so we know if they are the right type for Celtic.”
Wilson, who came through the Rangers youth system before joining Liverpool and then Hearts, is under contract until the summer of 2016.
