It was a different match to the one last Friday when Robbie Neilson’s men swept aside Dundee in what was an eventful game at Tynecastle. The team had to dig in against Dick Campbell’s side who made it difficult. The part timers created their fair share of chances but Craig Wighton’s delicate lob turned out to be the difference.
So how each of the players involved fare?

1. Craig Gordon - 7
A solid stop with his legs to deny Kris Dooland before an even better save down to his right to push an attempt around the post.. Photo: Ross Parker - SNS Group
2. Michael Smith - 7
Made a number of off the balls runs down the flank to offer himself for a cross-field pass. Was given some nervy moments by the bustling Hilson in the first half. Great assist for Wighton's opener. Photo: Craig Foy - SNS Group
3. Craig Halkett - 7
Strong and robust. Led the defensive line, shouted at the referee and was rarely troubled. When he was he dealt with it easily. Photo: Craig Foy - SNS Group

Was on the ball a lot. Had a strong run to create a chance in the opening 45. Played a few fine cross-field passes to open up play. A brilliant challenge to deny Gavin Swankie after the interval. Photo: Craig Foy - SNS Group
