Rangers are set to be without Alfredo Morelos when they take on Hearts at Tynecastle on January 26, according to reports.

The Colombian international was sent off deep into injury time of Sunday's 2-1 Old Firm win over Celtic at Parkhead for a second bookable offence after throwing himself to the ground in the penalty area, and as a result automatically misses Rangers' home match with St Mirren on January 22.

However, The Sun reports that the 23-year-old is set to be banned for the trip to the Capital four days later, while he will also be unable to feature against Stranraer in the Scottish Cup on January 17 after picking up two yellow cards in last year's competition which will be carried over.

Morelos has been dismissed in both of his last two starts for the Ibrox side, but hasn't yet crossed the points threshold for bookings.
