This will see a six-figure sponsorship of the Hearts Women's team within the overall deal, which is worth over £1 million.

The Hearts Women's team are a point away from clinching promotion to the top flight in Scotland and the club will integrate women's football into the club's academy structure.

Hearts’ director of community and partnerships, Ann Park, said: “We are delighted to be renewing our partnership with Umbro for a further three years. Umbro has a long history with Hearts, producing some of our most iconic jerseys and we are confident that this new deal will go down well with supporters.

"We are particularly pleased that Umbro is backing the move to bring women’s football into the Club. Their commitment to supporting the development and growth of women’s football at Hearts has brought in an additional six figure investment. We welcome their progressive approach and commitment to supporting the diversity of our players and our fan base.

"Supporting women’s football is a great investment for sponsors. The game is growing exponentially; it is a clear statement of companies’ support for equality and diversity and it is no surprise that our plans are attracting organisations who align with our values and wish to associate their brand with Hearts.

"This is the first in a number of sponsorships that we will unveil in 2020.”
