Atlanta United are considering a move for Hearts winger Jake Mulraney, according to the Daily Record.

The Tynecastle club are looking to shed first-team players from their bloated squad in order to free up funds for new manager Daniel Stendel to spend in January.

This could see Mulraney travelling across the Atlantic in a £200,000 move to the MLS side.

Head coach of the franchise, former Rangers defender Frank de Boer, wishes to sign a direct, pacey winger to improve his attacking options.

Mulraney has been a Hearts player since the summer of 2018 after impressing in a trial period.

His move to Tynecastle was confirmed after a swap deal with Inverness CT which saw Angus Beith heading in the opposite direction.
