Hearts have agreed to send 20-year-old Bulgarian forward Nikolay Todorov back to Livingston on a season-long loan.
Manager David Hopkin was delighted to see Todorov return to West Lothian after a successful loan there between January and May this year.
His four goals contributed to Livingston’s League One title win and he is now back for their Championship return.
“I don’t need to go into to much detail regarding Niko as all our fans will know what he can bring to the team,” said Hopkin.
“He scored four vital goals for us last season and I’m sure he will score a few more this season in the Championship. Over the summer Niko has been capped at Under-21 level by Bulgaria, playing against Georgia and Greece, and we were delighted for him. I’m really looking forward to watching Niko play in the Championship.”
Former Hearts players Scott Robinson and Dale Carrick are also part of the Almondvale squad for next season. “The squad is coming together nicely and I have one or two potential deals nearing fruition. If we can pull them off I will be delighted,” added Hopkin.
