Hearts defender Marcus Godinho has pledged his future to the club by signing a new two-year contract.
The 20-year-old Canadian full-back was in the final few months of his previous agreement but put pen to paper on a deal to keep him at Tynecastle until 2020.
An Under-20 internationalist with Canada, Godinho joined Hearts in June 2016 after playing with Toronto FC and Vaughan Azzurri in his homeland.
He spent the first half of this season on loan at Berwick Rangers, making 14 appearances with the League Two club. Recent weeks have seen him break into the Hearts first-team squad and he remains a bright prospect for the future.
