The match at Tynecastle on Boxing Day will be the first meeting between Hearts boss Daniel Stendel and Hibs manager Jack Ross after the pair were hired to improve the fortunes at each of Edinburgh's top flight clubs.

After hosting their nearest rivals, Hearts will then welcome Aberdeen to Gorgie on Sunday. Alan Muir has been appointed official of that game.

Hibs round out the year with trip to Livingston. Euan Anderson has been named as the official for that encounter.
