Reports claim Hearts owner Ann Budge discussed Aaron Hickey transfer with Manchester City

English Premier League giants have been monitoring left-back

Hearts owner Ann Budge held talks with Manchester City as the English Premier League side continue to pursue Aaron Hickey, according to the Daily Mail.

The 17-year-old is said to have been on the radar of Pep Guardiola's side over the past couple of months.

It is now being reported that the subject of the full-back was brought up as Budge held discussions with City officials last week.

Hickey's contract runs until the end of next season. Attempts from Hearts to get him to sign a new deal have so far been unsuccessful.

After breaking through at the end of last season as a 16-year-old, Hickey has played 19 times this season and appears to be the Tynecastle side's No.1 choice at left-back.
