Ann Budge today urged Hearts fans to join the Tynecastle revival after the club exited administration and announced discounted season ticket prices for the new campaign.

The majority shareholder begins a new era in earnest after the administration period was formally brought to an end, and she has unveiled season tickets starting at just £260.

Those will be sold from 9am tomorrow in the usual four categories, with adult prices set at £410 in Platinum zones, £325 in gold, £280 in silver and £260 in bronze for those who renew before Sunday, July 13. There are reductions for pensioners, students and under-18s, whilst an under-12 season ticket starts as low as £45.

Those prices represent an average drop of around seven per cent but they will rise as of July 14 as phase two of the sales process begins. That runs until the first league match of the new campaign on August 9.

The Hearts board have kept prices sensible following relegation to the Championship and are keen to reward the supporters who helped keep the club alive following their financial collapse. As an additional bonus, all season ticket holders will receive 20 loyalty points and Budge explained why Hearts are again counting on their public next season.

“Season 2014–2015 is a hugely important season for us, marking the beginning of a new era which begins the journey of passing the club to the ownership of the fans,” she said. “The fans, the lifeblood of Hearts, have been magnificent in their unstinting support for the club through what has undoubtedly been one of the toughest periods in Hearts’ 140-year history.

“The fact that we are still here is testament to their loyalty, their continued support on and off the park as well as the generosity of every Foundation of Hearts contributor.

“We are counting on you to get behind the team as it embarks on its campaign to return to the top tier of Scottish football.

“The Championship promises to be one of the most entertaining and competitive leagues in the country and we are strengthening all aspects of the club, both on and off the pitch, to make every visit to Tynecastle a very memorable one. We want as many supporters as possible to join our revival.”

The Tynecastle ticket centre will open for season ticket sales tomorrow at 9am and closes at 5pm.

It is also open from 9am-4pm on Saturday and from 12pm-4pm on Sunday.
