Video: Hearts' cup final advantage, Craig Gordon's decision to leave Celtic and the best Tynecastle goalkeeper of the past 70 years
Earlier this week the Evening News held a live discussion with an invited Hearts supporter as a special guest.
Colin Robertson, who has followed the club since the late 1940s, joined Mark Atkinson, Barry Anderson, Craig Fowler and the club’s record appearance holder Gary Mackay to talk everything Tynecastle ahead of Sunday’s Scottish Cup final.
In this five-minute video, the quintet discuss the advantage Hearts will have going into the final over a much-fancied Celtic team with Craig Gordon between the sticks compared to whomever Neil Lennon decides to pick for the opposition.
From there Barry explains how it came to be that Gordon rejected the opportunity to remain at Celtic and returned to his boyhood heroes despite them dropping down to the Championship.
Then Colin regales the guys with memories of terrific Hearts goalkeepers from the past, including his choice for the best he’s ever seen – a selection which may surprise some people
